Understanding the result
For overnight shifts, choose the next day. Enter breaks in minutes. Results include hours and minutes and decimal hours. Pay, overtime rules and daylight-saving changes are not included.
Subtract unpaid breaks from the shift interval and mark whether it ends on the following day. This tool calculates elapsed time, not payroll rules for overtime or statutory breaks.
