Understanding the result

Each value is multiplied by its weight; the sum of products is divided by total weight. Weights must be nonnegative and at least one positive. Up to 20 rows.

Values with larger weights affect the answer more. The sum of weights must be positive; unlike a plain arithmetic mean, doubling one item’s weight changes the result.
